I’m not going to lie, the highlight of this episode just might be learning what a “push gift” is from Don. Fun times chronicling my trip to Boulder to watch the CU game (big thanks to the great pre-game organized by the Colorado Alumni Chapter). Not to mention the game, and what an odd game it was last Thursday, 50 degrees colder and a few thousand feet higher than the conditions the Sun Devil football team is used to playing in. But whatever doesn’t kill you, makes you stronger right? And we’ll need that stress test in our next Thursday night game which for some reason just happens to be a week later against the best team in the Pac-12, if not the nation in those Oregon Ducks.
Kurt Liedtke talks to us in-depth about this Oregon team, and what ASU fans should look forward to in the upcoming Blackout matching two teams unbeaten in conference play and sitting on top of their respective divisions. It isn’t all gloom and doom, plus he gives you a couple of Indie bands to go out and have a listen to. Speaking of which, another great band for you this week in Murder by Death. Another unique sound out of the Bloodshot Records catalog. Be sure to hit us up on Twitter and wish Don a happy vacation before Hansen the Younger is born!
